In an industry that constantly evolving and innovating, it is important to stay at the forefront of research and development. I believe the Archway community is poised to conduct research into key areas of Web3 to inform the strategy and direction of the Protocol. Working in conjunction with core contributors, a team of independent developers and web3 natives could bring in a new perspective from which to answer the questions the industry is asking.
I believe the R&D DAO should be divided into different subDAOS with separate focuses, such as DeFi, gaming, NFTs, etc. The subject of each research segment would be determined between core contributor teams and the community members qualified to conduct the investigation.
Some key questions to resolve include:
- How do we qualify/screen community members to greenlight research funding?
- Should research topics change quarterly?
- What are the next steps to implement findings?
- How will we form the committees evaluating the research and spearheading milestones?
